COTTESLOE + BONDI SCULPTURE BY THE SEA 2017
The figurative work has has a distinct and recognizable profile as being a surfers from near and far. However, whilst viewing from a direct West facing angle in perfect elevation, its grid silhouette is aligned almost as though a diagram. The dark silhouette, true in day and evening communicates the symbiotic relationship between surfer and ocean.
